The hanger that is welded before the cat (one right above the cross member) broke off my exhaust, how should I go about fixing this so that the exhaust stops hitting the cross member when I am driving?

Take it to an exhaust shop. They'll fix it.

Default Replacing everything

hey, i had trouble finding the answer to my question so here goes, i am putting a new motor in and want to get upgraded headers and all new everything all the way back.

my question is, what do i do with the two small cats that were on the far end of the headers and the O2 sensors that belong to them. do i have to replace those cats or can i cut them out of the system?

and either way what brands are preferred for headers and cat. i think i want flowmaster 44 or 40 not sure yet.

thanks a bunch

There are a few brands that make the two piece headers. Those precats are required by federal law

+1, I did a 2.5" cat back with a hi-flow spun cat and FM40 from them, very happy with the price and quality.
