I was going to go with the Flowmaster but it was 20 or so extra and I heard the drone a bit. The cherry bomb drones just a touch at very low RPM but no problems while cruising.
How's that pro sound?

The cherry bomb? It sounds decent, a little rumble but not obnoxious. Its louder than stock but not like putting a catback on a mustang or something.

ok guys just making a note here, but if you really want a good exhaust, do the banks revolver headers, the sound is beautiful when combined with a 2.5" spun cat, FM40 and 2.5" tail pipe. oh and there is definitely more power.

No, a bad O2 sensor does. Check for melted wires

Wasn't really what I was asking. To clarify, on a lot of cars, aftermarket headers flow more air, which will mess up the o2 readings and throw codes. I know a lot of people replace their header because they crack. Are the headers just stronger and better constructed or do they flow more air as well? Generally, aftermarket headers throw codes.

Thanks. I have had codes thrown on almost any car I've put after market exhaust parts on; LS1 Camaro SS, Mustang GT, LT1 Camaro Z28, Jetta 1.8t to name a few in my experience. Hence why I asked, wanted to make sure if/when I do replace the header that I won't need to get stuff coded out.

That's odd I never threw codes on my LT1 powered z28. I also had kook long tubes borla catback free flow cat lt1-lt4 conversion and 150hp shot of n20 , k&n fipk , msd ignition , bbk tb . No codes on my Miata. That had a Jackson racing supercharger and Jackson racing header. And magnaflow catback. No codes on my TJ with full borla exhaust , no codes on my 95yj with a pacesetter header and flow master exhaust with a mopar purple cam

Hmm weird. I've heard some people luck out and don't get them, seems pretty random. Guess I am not one of them lol.

I dunno, maybe its because the header is still the relative same size. My experience has been with long tubes and big downpipes which flow a lot of unrestricted air.

Oh man! That would suck! The same thing happened to me when my last crown Vic got hit by some dumb kid texting on his phone. I lost a $10,000 motor and $2,000 worth of stainless works headers and borla stingers. Had I known I would only get $4,500 for the car, I would have stripped that thing. To top it all off, I was to stupid to back up my pics on my phone so I only have like 3 pics to remember it by. Oh well, you live and you learn I guess. I wanted to put a borla on my jeep, but that's a ton of cash to drop on a bone stock 4.0 with 235k on it
