Can someone post their spintech on the 4.0. I want a Flowmaster 40, but don't want to over look anything.

Sounds like my dad's cherokee kind of, except he's got a 3 foot cherry bomb. Both are nice sounds Though, the thing keeping me from getting either is that my dad's jeep sounded like a ricer when I slipped my 4" tip over it...

 

Sounds more like a race car, or maybe it is the video.

 

Whats a muffler?

 

I'll try again today, but my phone doesn't really record the deeper tones too well.

 

And mine isn't the sportsmen, it's the 9000.

From a little googling, I'd say your cat is at fault. How many miles ya got?

 

Yeah, I've googled and googled but i put this out there as a last string of hope, hoping I don't have to pay for new cats.

It has just over 169k on it and the O2 sensors are fairly new.

Everything but those and the muffler look to be original, including the tailpipe.

I've done a couple Seafoams to her so I don't know if that has played a part in it or not.

I've had the CEL come on twice while idling and have cleared the code and it keeps coming back.

I don't know if I should replace just the cat right before the muffler or all of them......

 

Well, check these out. If a new cat doesn't do the trick, you'll still have cash to put towards precats if you have them. What year is this, btw? You should really fill out your vehicle info.

 

hey I got a glass pack and its just getting really annoying... I wanna get a muffler but nor sure what to get. I do want something somewhat deeper but i don't wanna it obnoxiously loud and droning... any suggestions?
