So ur saying it needs to be replaced from cat back? If j gotta do that then whats the best set up for a 99xj? What do you like best? Not extremely loud.

Setup id look around for a stock cat for u so u don't need to worry about drilling a hole for that o2....nxt I pick up a 40 not to Loud but its there ...a lil louder that u can hear in cab is the 44 from flowmaster. That the flow master 40 or the fm 44...and possibly 2.5in exhaust out of the muffler

good idea on the stock cat but do they make a high-flow with the o2 sensor hole already there in the same place? and if i go with that setup am i going to loose mpg's or anything? sry for all the ?'s but im not an expert on exhaust...

noo all of the hi cats I've seen don't have the hole for the o2....also I run a 44 stock everything..minus muffler its my mpg stays the same...

I thought the price on the stock down pipe (from manifold to cat) was a decent price. If too expensive 4wd hardware also sells that pipe. Then there's always the junkyards.

i kinda like the junkyard idea. haha. im stingy incase u can't tell. i think ima go that route and just get a new muff

Good place...but no I don't run and hi cats or 2.5 tubeing I love the sound. But recently found out the 40 is deeper and slightly louder.
