One of mine came out easily. But the other one is in there GOOD. I have had the map gas torch on it for about two minutes and it still isn't budging when i put all my back into it! I started to pb blast the bumper. I think i may remove the bumper to get into the frame there and then just cut it out or something. I have new bolts and everything.
why can't this be easier!!!!

I'm getting a new RC 4.5 kit, can I use my 1.5" lifted shackles from my previous BB without much hassle? I'm installing a sye and cv shaft. My stock shackles are in pieces. Also, should I use my coil spacers to level it out?

If so yes they'll work fine. You will need to make sure however that the shocks, lower control arms, and trackbar you get with the lift kit will work at 6" of lift (since they were designed to be used with a 4.5" kit).
I personally don't see why people go beyond 5" of lift...but you can do what you want

So if I understand correctly you're going to increase the 4.5" lift with the budget boost parts?

alternatively (and the route I would take) is to CALL up RC to order your kit, and see if they'll send you the 3" springs and 1.5" shackle combo instead of the 4.5" spring kit. Same lift, but it'll flex better and solve your shackle issue, and probably will be cheaper also.
Also that way you can get 10% off by mentioning the forum.

sounds like a good plan - or find someone on here selling their stock ones

So right now im running 31.5's on stock axles (prev owners work...also an incomplete lift, ie no sye, adjust. Control arms or drop brackets ...sway bar discos...anyways) the rear is a 35, my buddies tell me its bound to break soon, but ice been on mild off road and its my dd for 3 years now...my question i guess is, am i in danger of it just snapping or what? The pumpkin had a new cover when i got it, so idk if he did any gear work...so lets assume its stock, am i really going to be upset soon or is it ok untill i can actually afford a jy 825 or 44?

you'll be fine for now - just don't hammer the hell out of the go pedal on rocks. the d35 is pretty sound with up to 33s on it if you don't wheel it like a madman.

(Yes, dukie, I'm gonna be whoring that statement for a while)
The rest of my Rancho kit arrived, now i just need to finalize what to do about the rear springs.
Kit came with AALs, i'm wanting to replace the leaf packs completely. Rockauto has OMIX-ADA "heavy duty" rear packs for $90 each. Is this a good way to go? Any other suggestions?
A very slight rake might be preferable just so it evens out if i load it up in the future. I haul engines fairly often it seems.
This is where i get confused: http://www.quadratec.com/products/16033_018.htm
That's the Rancho full replacement bundled with their 2.5" kit. But... it's only listed as 1.5"? Where does the extra inch come from?
