My 3"kit flexes well. I haven't heard anything bad about any of their kits.

I'm getting a 3" RC lift for my 2k too. Did yo need a transfer case drop or did it work for you not to have one? What tires size are you running?

I didn't drop my tc or extend my brake lines, just stretched out the stock ones. As far as vibes go, I get small vibes on acceleration between 40-50mph before it shifts. No big deal for me. I'm running 235/75/15 right now but will be upgrading to 31/10.50. Btw I don't have any pics of the lift installed yet. Will be soon.Oh, make sure you get full leafs, not aal.

Here's a side by side vs stock.

Default S-10 leaf packs

There is someone local here (where I live) selling a set of S10 leaf packs off of a 2003 S10 pick up. I verified they are 2.5 inches wide the same as my XJ.

Can I use the leafs off a 2003 S10 to make a bastard pack? He only wants $40 bucks for them. I hate to pass it up if I can use them.

Just right. I want to lift, get better, lift, get better and this looks like a great start. Thanks for getting up the pictures.

One more thing, what Adjustable Front Track Bar did you use? Anybody have a favorite for a 3" lift soon to be a 4.5" lift?

I love red xj's.

I dint know why but right now I want to keep the stock fenders. Do you think I could keep the stock look and go 32" tires?

32's on a 3"....yea you should be able to do that...it will be close, but should def be workable...and for a track bar...if ur thinking bout 4.5" soon...I would suggest just going with something like IRO adj. Double shear bar....

Looks like I'll install my lift next weekend. What hardware might I need. I'll be changing the front and rear springs, socks, LCA, track bar, steering stabilizer, DICOS, SYE.

Thanks Stryker, I was hoping to wait on this if I could. Did you have to relocate the track bar or did it line up OK in the stock position?

Does anyone know if I can use leaf packs from a 2003 2wd S10 pick-up to make some bastard packs?

More than likely, but you could always measure the spring width to double check
