If you want to you can drive down here and compare but it's a cheap crappy 3" lift that rides like crap haha. Can't wait to upgrade but the price is going to suck.

SatiricalHen, I have a brand spankin new set of JKS shackles (no, I'm not a dealer). Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but thought I'd put it out there. PM me if you're interested.

Steve, I'm currently finishing up install of my HD No Lift SRB's, and it's looking like I'll be around 40° with they way I have it now. I'm pretty sure it'll end up being less than 45°. So what characteristics are expected depending on if you're above or below 45°?

did a quick Google search and looks like people are having the same problem with that shackle also.

I'm still experimenting with shackle angles but have learned a few things.
Shackle angle is somewhat dependent on leaf spring arch. If leaf pack is flat it will not get any longer, only shorter on both compression and droop, shackle can be 60* off of vertical (40* angle).

An arched leaf pack will get longer as it compresses, shorter as it droops. If shackle is at 45* and suspension fully compresses, shackle can bottom out on chassis (where bumper attaches).

45* shackle increases droop of suspension.
A more vertical angle will offer a firmer ride and less body roll around corners and off-camber terrain.

^^^Good info. I think I may move the upper shackle bolt back a hole. I think this will put me a little bit above 45°. I don't want it to be "boaty" out back.

What angle have you liked the most? Or have you not played with it enough to know yet?

Yup.... the POS parts jeep I have had a set of these up front. The ride was CUSH! But sketchy as all get out. Wouldn't put 'em on my rig, that's for sure.

Little visual for ya in conjunction with that....

My current shackle angle at ride height (I've since gotten extended shackles, but the ANGLE is still the same):

My current ride height:

Plenty of downtravel:

Plenty of uptravel:

On road ride.... well... yeah.... not so cush. It's a little stiff in the rear... you'll know it when you hit bumps at highway speeds, and you don't wanna go fast over speed bumps, but it's not "dumptruck" stiff. It's kinda more along the lines of "pickup truck without a load" stiff.

Seems to be. But the point of my posting that wasn't to get into a contest comparing amount of droop... the point was to show that you can still get a decent amount of droop without having a 45* angle on your shackle. Which is what SteveMonger was getting at as well.
