I also relocated the track bar 3/4'' to the right. my question is do most people expericence steering problems after lifting? My alignment is way off I know thats normal but i think my tie rods might be bad. the steering just seems wobbly, weak, and off. I turn to the left and it seems to have a slow reply. I'm wondering if it is an easy fix I just don't know about of if im screwed. please help
I would assume your track bar is the issue considering you went the cheap and unsafe route of just moving the bottom bolt hole over. Your axle may be staying straight for a while until you turn more. I would bet that your axle is still not centered at 4.5". Get a real track bar from Iron Rock Offroad. Get the double sheer one. Its $200 and worth every penny.

X2 On the IRO Double Sheer.

Depends on the wheels.

At 2.5" of lift they aren't going to fit on the Jeep without a good bit of trimming. If you don't trimming then go ahead. Turning is going to suck.

That tire is WAY wider than anything I'd want to run.

33x10.50 is where it's at.

Just gonna butt in here what are the advantages of 33x10.5 over 33x12.5 ? Disadvantages? I'll be dealing with pretty much every thing mud rock snow you name it

Clearance. Weight. Looks.

I'd prefer have a tire that allowed me to turn the wheels from lock to lock without removing half the sheet metal from the front and rear of the Jeep.

A tire that doesn't weight 200 pounds to exaggerated forces and break axles.

I'd also prefer that my Jeep not look like a roller skate.

And I personally like some tire sticking out

Wider tires swing on a wider arc.

Narrow tires fit inside the fender well much better while steering left and right.

Its just a skinnier tire. Better road handling, maybe a more even tread pattern, technically less traction off-road though.

Is it a dd, ww, or trailer queen?

We have about 10 people in our unofficial group and almost everybody runs 33x12.5 KM2 or Wranglers. One guy has 33x10.5 and there's no difference in what he can do compared to the rest.

I would say an 8-10" wide wheel with 3.5-4" back spacing.
The 315s are 35x12.5s but the v5 only come with a 4.5 backspacing. Trying to do it as cheap as possible. But the tires I have now are pretty much 33x12.5s.

fwiw
when youre cutting the fronts, i like to do cut and fold at the bottom towards to cab. It can be a weak spot if its just cut. and it also completely removes the sharp edge.

I might be cutting my front a little more. If I do I'll attempt a fold somewhat like the rear.
