Yeah. That 2" kit is $270 plus shipping. Are the shocks that come with that Rusty 2" kit any good?

If I have a np242 tcase and lifted above 3" i hear that i will need a sye but from what I am understanding they only make syes for the other tcase.
Am i wrong or what options do i have?

Okay. This is what I could do.

Rusty 2" springs, Rusty 2" long add a leaf.

Then the rest like I posted earlier. And I will still be around the same cost as I was. Maybe a little more but not much.

This sounds better to me than the spacer and shackle kit.

Where is a good place to pick up some new U Bolts without paying a fortune for them? Does Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts carry U Bolts?

Well it all depends on what you want. If you just want a more agressive look then I'd say the 2" spacer and aal kit. If you want to do some flexing and more serious 4 wheeling etc. then I'd save up some more and go for a kit with coils.

I'm guessing you will get your own shocks? And you can buy u bolts at advanced or autozone but they might not be the best quality.

Every jeep is different. Usually the newer jeeps don't take to lifts as well but some people have 4.5" lifts with no vibes and others have 2" lifts with bad vibes. If you do get vibes you could use shims and or a transfer case drop to fix it. As far as your transfer cases compatiblity with a sye I don't know.

I was going to use bar pin eliminators for now so I can keep the shocks that are on there.

I priced new shocks last night and I was like....guess that will have to wait.

When you say "more serious 4 wheeling", how serious could I get with spacers vs. new coil springs?

I know 33's with stock gears would be pretty sluggish. But how much a difference would there be between 33x12.5 and 33x10.5?

Haha x2 with my 33's....and between 12.50 and 10.50 is pretty much the width man...the 10.50's won't rub the fenders or your lca's depending on how much lift u have...but that's bout it really...

I just had another nightmare thought. Does anyone know if I put a 2" lift on and install the 30x9.50's on my stock rims which are 15x7 with either 5" or 5.5" back space, I can't remember what it was now, are my front tires going to rub the wheel well when I turn?

I mean I'm no expert in off roading but think of it this way; the spacers could be 2 more inches of coil that would allow you more flex over rocks and stuff. I'm sure you can do alot if you have some quick disconnects with the 2" spacer but i'm just saying that coils are generally more ideal for offroading than spacers. You would be fine on trails and mudding if that's what you want to know.
