Ok so im sure this has been asked before but i couldn't find it so here it is, i have 3.5" lift and looking at getting this budget boosthttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TeraF...Q5fAccessories to get it to 5" so it fits 33's better...my question is what all will i need to make this happen? I shouldn't need new shocks to go up 1.5" right?

Haha I'm in the process of doing this to mine actually but going up 2"..your gonna most likely need some lca's, trac bar, extend the brake lines, maybe but most likely a t case drop cause of new drive line angles...possibly an alignement after wards. Lol...that's all I can think of at the moment

Very well maybe u have some after market arms them..yea and the trac bar..most likely gonna need a new one of those to keep the axle centered...and then yea the brake lines and t case drop...if afterwards though you get some bad vibes you may have to throw on a sye..

depends on how close your shocks are to maxing out.
do you know how much travel they have? and where they sit at when resting at ride height?
also depending on what brakelines you may have, they may not work well at 5"

Thanks. I could probably make some of those myself if needed. They look to be about 1.5-2" of drop?
Was I right in my thinking about for every inch you go up is how long you need to extend your sway links or drop your sway bar?
Seems logical but I ain't no engineer

If you got new shocks when you did your 3.5" lift you'll probably be fine there, but how did you acheive your lift? Did you get new rear springs? Are you still using the stock shackles? Sorry if these are dumb questions, but when you put a lift on top of a lift you might forget what you've already done or what you still needed to do. But yeah, likely new control arms, possibly drop brackets, brake lines, TC drop, adjustable track bar, maybe new pitman arm to get your draglink parallel to your track bar, probably some other stuff too.

PS. The guy with the 33x15.5 tires is now trading me a set of 4 new maxxis bighorns 32x11.5 so now i wont have to worry about not fitting.lol Any body have experiance or know anything about these tires? and will i have to trim my flare's any to fit them?
I have put 3" lift on my 98 I don't like the kwik disconnect sway bar links wondering if anybody knows where I can get oem type extended links??
