Bogging and light trails. No rock crawling around here. Still going to be pulling a small trailer from time to time. It's a dd right now. Will be building bumpers, want an arb style front one. i may just make it out of 4x6 steel tubing though. Stock shocks

Stock shocks won't work at 3". They don't have any more down travel and will essentially be ruined.

I want to fit 35s without trimming, how much body lift do I need for that?

Mmk, if a bumper is definitley in your future, RE is made for that. Now if your going to be pulling a trailer, you're going to want to keep your sway bar in the rear and make or somehow find some extended links for it. If you go around a corner too quick and the body of your jeep rolls more than your trailer its going to seperate. Plus you won't get as good of a pull on the trailer. You'll probably be fine with regular white body shocks, people hate on them for being rough (which they are) but they're not terrible. If you're going to dd you may want some better quality ones though.

Sure do in several lengths.
Can also buy sway bar disconnects so you can disconnect the sway bar while offroading for better articulation.

Rear, no. You can't take it off or leave it, whichever you are comfortable with depending on how stiff your springs are.

Up front, you can get new links for pretty cheap.

Yea forgot about the rear. Honestly you won't notice if it's gone.

What rear leaf spring bastard pack set up would you guys recommend for flexing. Ive heard using two xj leafs but not sure which leafs to use.
Looking for 3-3.5"
I dont mind shackles if they will give good angles for flexing.
96 Cherokee

S10, Dakota, or Durango are best for flex. Need to be 2.5" wide and have more arch than your XJ leafs.

EDIT: Here ya go.
