Default Looking for lift

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. All stock exterior except brushguard. New Kenwood stereo and speakers on inside. To start off my work on my jeep, which i bought for christmas, i was wanting to get a lift for it. My understanding is its hard to find a lift for a 2wd Jeep. Not wanting to do a whole lot of rock climbing with it. Just offroad a little bit, get here and there with ease. Im looking for a 3 or 4 inch lift so that later i can get bigger tires and new rims. Any reccomendations on any of those? Help needed, advice welcome!

Im a newbie at all this jeep stuff. My cousin is a jeep fanatic. He is on jeepforum.com though. He has a 96 wrangler. But anyways how good are 2inch blocks? Expensive? Do they hold up well?

They're really cheap, and i had an old set and seem to hold up well, but i can assure you not many(if any) people on here would suggest them...i guess in my opinion if you REALLY want a lift and cannot afford a spring pack which can be expensive then its pretty much a last resort if you absoulutly cant wait and save for the spring pack. Or you could get the block and save up for the spring pack.

Im not real up on jeep lift kits being im pretty new to them myself, but i know the lift kit kinda determines on what you plan on doing with the jeep like hardcore rock crawler, dd for show, or dd with some trail. But im sure some others on here who know more about this than me will sure give you some guidence. Or use the search button up top and im sure you may find some helpfull information.

Default Need an inexpensive, fairly aggresive set of A/Ts

I'm looking at some more aggresive all terrains, something along the lines of Dean Wildcats or Mastercraft Courser A/T2's. I actually really like the Coursers, My dad has a set on his TJ and they haven't been stuck yet. I just want something that will perform "good enough" in mud and on some light trails. Stock, so 225/75/15 or 235/75/15.
Any suggestions on inexpensive, comparable tires?

I recommend rough country lift kits. I just installed their 3" kit with full leafs (don't get add-a-leafs). It took me and a buddy about 6 hours (including beer breaks). Here's a pic of my jeep after the instal.

Here's a pic of mine with rough country 3" series II aal (i know, i know - shaddup) wearing 31x10.50 Goodyear Workhorse XG's. Easy to install, awesome price, much better ride than my sprung stock configuration!!!! Looks like what a Cherokee should off the line.

Since you have a 2wd sell it and get a 4wd, no im joking
get some spacers off of ebay or whatever for the front and do a mild bastard pack and shackles for the rear

How dose one obtain those rear side windows? Was it a factory option? Do the make aftermarket? Or do I just have to digg around in a yard?
