ALSO.. just remembered. i looked up on the WJ's, cuz i about had one... i can only lift them 3.5'' before some major modding is done. what about a 93 country? i would like a 4.5'' lift, but dont want to redo drivelines or anything... is there any major mods that need to be done between a 3'' lift and a 4.5'' lift? what are all the parts that are needed to do a 4.5 lift?

I have a rough country 3" series II lift that i just put on. Great kit for great price. Look up grimus in the vendor section on this forum and he will hook you up with a deal. Under $350 for everything i needed. Kit, upgrade shocks, steering stabilizer and threw in some decals. I know there are some rc haters but i cant say anything at all bad about them. Great product and customer service. I run 31x10.5's under it no prob.
im wanting to save as much money as possible... but i want something that i can drive daily and not regret lifting it. if it takes more money then ill just have to wait and save. if cheap is going to make this thing a pain to drive to work everyday then ill spend more. im used to riding in hummers and duce and a halfs... so this jeep is a caddy as it is... ridgid does not bother me. the only reason i wanted 33's is because i want the look of a wide tire.. i do not like skinny tires lol... 31's would be better because i would like to throw on disconnects on the sway bar and ive got a mod idea for revolver shackles to lock them in place so the body wont roll... and disconnect the shackles so she can flex. maybe just some lift ideas that dont come in a box and without a high pricetag. the AAL dont seem bad... even lift blocks would work cuz i dont plan on wheeling hard enough to wrap the axle. i guess im just wanting cheap ideas.. then ill take what i want from them...

148pgs is a lot to scan through so I hope I am not asking a repeat question. I have been gathering parts to lift my '93 ZJ. I had intended on going with 3"-3.5" of lift. I hit up the JY and made a find on a lifted xj and pulled what I could. I already have the springs but this jeep had 1.5" spacers too. So that got me thinking. Can I buy shocks to fit a 4.5" lift and run them with only lifting it 3"? How easy will it be to lose a spring? I am asking because Im not sure if I want to go the 4.5" yet or at all, depending on what all more I would have to do other than a 3" and dont want to buy another set of shocks if I decide to later. Not sure the brands of parts I got off that xj but I pulled some adjustable upper control arms, pivoting lower link arms, a set of adjustable quick discos, and the spacers. I plan on getting a TB relocation bracket to add to that list. Thanx for any advice/help.

Does anyone know if I will get a true 2" lift on the rear of my jeep if I use a 2" shackle lift? I am going to buy a 2" budget boost and just wondered if you actually get a true 2" after install.
Thanks...
