Nice that helps a lot man, hows tread life? I'm a bit worried about my lift...I thought I searched enough but I just stumbled upon more information and it sounds like more money spent.. Am I going to need a new adjustable track bar? Will I get vibrations with the 231 xcase? I previously read that only happens with the 242. And will I be able to put 31's on my stock wheels? Or do I need more offset? poooooooop I'm running out of cash lol it's christmas

I'm also looking into tires. I'm waiting on my 3.5" RE super flex kit and I want 31x10.5x15 on the stock Sport wheels. I don't deal with a lot of mud, mostly rocky trails. I've already torn the sidewall of one of my Michelin LTX's so I'd like something tough that'll get me home then cruise down the highway.
How do you guys feel about Wrangler Duratrac's, Wrangler MT/R w/Kevlar, or even BFG Mud T/A? Open to any suggestions, I'll pretty much be sticking to Tire Rack because so far they beat Discounts prices. Oh and of course cheeper the better!

Iv got no worries with the guard dog. Have a few friends that have had them for quite a while with no issues at all.

Anything over 2" needs an adj or at least lift specific track bar. Driveline vibes from what I understand are plug and play. Usually the rule of thumb is over 3" but I know people runnin 4.5 with no vibes. And tread life on KM2's isn't just amazing but no mud terrain is. My buddy's had some on his Tacoma for a year but they're stills we probably 70% tread or so. They're great tires.

2002 WJ, with a 4" BDS lift, I got it secondhand and it was only the coils and LCAs. I want to know how important is it to get longer/adjustable rear control arms?

does anyone know if stock wrangler wheels are 8" and will they rub or anything on a 3.5" lifted xj with 31's..??
looking on craigslist for options but no one ever states width and I'd rather know in advance rather than making a dry run... to find out otherwise

Not sure that all wrangler rims are but the ravine style wheels are 15x8. And with 31's I'm not makin any promises but even my stock wheels didn't rub anything so you should be in the clear
