Torque what are my wheel lugs supposed to be torqued at? I have a 1990 xj 4.0L with 175 r 15 with stock rims? Can't seem to find the exact spec? Thanks!

 

110 ft/lbs

 

Not rly any need to remove them. The anti seize is ok as long as you torque them properly and put a jam nut on each one. Periodically remove the jam nut and check torque pressure.

 

Interesting my manual says 85lbs.

 

I step-torque my lug nuts - 100ft-lb, then to 120ft-lb.

 

My manual said 85-110, and I've heard you're supposed to torque all five to 85, then 110. Don't know if that's true, but all the other sources I've seen say 110.

 

Steel wheels are 85ft lbs
Alum are 110-120ft lbs.

 

Looking at rancho rs 5000 shocks plan on lifting my jeep 2" will they work? I'm currently stock but I plan on adding skid plates after the lift kit too.Im doing a whole new leaf pack an coil spacers

I ran the rancho es 5000 with a 2" BB the worked well. I've since upgraded to a 4.5" the ranchos are for sale if your interested.

 

How do those work exactly? Fill with some type of oil and the pressurize with air?

 

What leaf packs are you getting? I'm looking for 2" also and have really only found ome

 

Gonna go with rancho 1.5" and do .5 "lift shackles. How does the JK shock mod work?

 

They come ready to go you just have to pressurize with nitrogen

 

Press out the metal collar on the lower shock mount and press the XJ bar pins in.

There may be a little more to it, but that was the jist of what I read and it seems pretty simple. I would search and read a little more on it though.
