I measured a friend's older one earlier this week and got the exact same measurement as you (maybe not the same thousandths) but it is definitely under 2" OD. I came up with 1.97 something.

As an update to this I pounded on the sleeves a little this week and had no issues out of them. They do need something to locate the coil however. I had one shift forward and now my swaybar is hitting it (Part of the issue is the swaybar discos being too short but that isn't the "fix" in itself).

A few weeks back Ping Pong posted here that the isolators should get re-used and I agree fully with that. I will need to modify them to fit but they should take care of locating the spring and keeping it centered.

Aside for that they held up fine.

Props on the ingenuity, but those things didn't hold out on my buddy's accord at all. I'm afraid after time, they're gonna strip just like his did. Anyways, get your isolaters on and beat her some more. In for results

They dont strip out they hold up fine. I have a friend that has been running the same one for the last eight years. And he is very hard on them. been to moab 6 times. broke several other things but these coil over hold up.

So are you guys using the coil and the shock off of these accords? Or just the coils?
