I am a doorless two door running around with open headers cuz I ripped off my exhaust this passed weekend while wheeling.
I draw plenty of attention. I am in Milwaukee.
I just don't want my stuff stolen.

Haha
Do people actually live in Milwaukee? Everytime I have been there the roads are empty. It could be 5:00PM on a Friday and nobody is on the roads.

Update:
The sleeves don't fit. I don't know if the ones I got are a little smaller than some others out there or if the bumpstop tubes on a 97+ are a larger diameter than on older XJs (I have no way to test either theory currently) but they are simply too small.
I used a cylinder hone to try and open them up as well as sanded the paint and some metal off my tubes but in the end I was never able to get them on more than an inch.
The sleeves I bought were 2.5" ID and my tubes are 2.6ish" OD. I know that doesn't sound like much difference but it is roughly 3-4mm different and that is a good bit to overcome.
I'd love to see some other measurements however.
EDIT: YES I ground off some of the bumpstop seat flare. That isn't where it is coming to a stop.

Send them to me and I can make them a perfect fit. Other than that how do they fit on the coil?
Seriously though. I could make them fit.

I could too - the problem is that at some point the walls of the sleeve will end up being too thin.

I see. It doesn't take much wall thickness considering the stress is all going to be length wise to the spacer but 1/16" I think would be pushing it in the first place. I'm in the process of designing some adjustable spacers here at work. I'll keep it to at least 3/16" because I like to be overkill.

I was missing a "0" in my numbers I quoted you the other day.
Here is what I actually have:

I also have a sneaking suspicion that the bumpstop tubes on pre-97 XJs are a little skinnier . . .
Here is what I actually have:
- Bumpstop tube - 2.065ish inches (it tapers and bows a little but that is as wide as it appears to be)
- Sleeves - 2.045" ID
