Accord Coilovers - Any more pics/info?
I know the basics of it. I understand the principals behind it. I have a set in my garage that I ordered.
Could any of you who are running them post pictures or share info on actually installing them? Again I understand the basics but could you share more in-depth about mounting them (if there is any more to it), dealing with the flare on the XJ's bumpstop/spring perch, etc.

My calipers say the ID of the coilover sleeves are 2.403" and the OD of the bumpstop tube is 2.5" so a bit of sanding/grinding is probably in order but shouldn't be too difficult.
But as the other guy said there is little to no info that can be found via Google regarding them so those details are lacking.

Yes. The cheapo coilover kits you get for ~$50 on eBay work very similar to the ACOS or the Rusty's setup - and you get 4 sleeves instead of 2 (Split it with a buddy and get them for $25/pair).

I have a set. THESE are the ones I bought.
I can experiment but I'm also interested in seeing what others have done.

I edited my last post with the link but here they are again:
Accord 94-97 Coilovers
Any from those model years will work since the shock body on those cars is all the same OD. Hell I think even the older Accord coilovers will work and probably Civic ones as well.

A lot. The collars are about 6" tall.

The tubes and collars are aluminum. That concerns me BUT:
- The threaded tube will be a tight fit over the bumpstop tube so it will be internally supported
- The threads on cheap coilovers are big - and big coarse threads mean deep threads so there is a lot of depth to grab onto (more surface to bear the load on fine threads but also much more shallow)
- There are 2 adjusting rings to carry the load
