the ACOS and Rusty's both use the same basic design as the accord one. i have personally seen the **** beat out of those and no failure. the tower is more likely to collapse than the spacer.

I'm curious how these work out for you. I know most of the chinese coil overs for hondas the adjustment sleeve is usually not very thick and sturdy, but maybe its enough. I might try it on my POS just to see.
I know for sure the first part to fail will be where the sleeve rests against the pocket, if you can, steal the spanner nuts off the extras and screw them at the top of the sleeve to keep it from mushrooming and cracking. Other than that I dont see why it shouldnt work

I am going to reserve judment till the said product is installed and used. I do have a concern or too.. but it is from how hard I am on my stuff. I am all about cheap ... and this might be the next great thing.

I like this idea much better. I would rather have too much coverage on top of the spring than not enough or risk having un-even contact on top of the spring.

I don't think that aluminum will hold up very well to the abuse a jeep gets put through. a jeep is not an accord weight isn't even the only thing to consider.
Good luck I hope it works out for you. I will watch from a distance.

I agree with the weight issue but also the shock factor. That Aluminum will crack in no time. I don't care how modify it.
As far as the rubber coil spacers go and uneven heights side to side, here's a thought, measure and cut off material from one spacer to get them even. Freakin vuala! It's magic I tell ya.

I agree with several here however that the "cone" will be the issue.
And when you add more weight to the front such as a new bumper or winch then what do you do to get that height you just lost back? Oh yeah - you buy NEW rubber spacers and start the process over again.
