Just asking.. is the collar on the adjuster the same diameter as the top of the coil?

Close enough that the coil won't work it's way over the collars.

i dont get it... $45 shipped is whats paid... the rubber spacers do the exact same thing but not adjustable... cost the same... so whats the point? your just going to adjust them to where you like and leave them anyways... so having that adjustment does do anything for you really... just spin them all the way out already cause thats what everyones gonna do... lol... now if you have them already for whatever reason and happen to have a cherokee too then i guess why not... save ya the money on spacers... but i dont think its worth buying into...

Do you really believe the OE setup is an exact fit? Spacers aren't an exact fit either. They don't take into account the coiled angle of the springs. All they need to do is hold the spring at the height you set them to. Nothing else.

I want exact with things that dictate/affect geometry. Once the spring is settled in the coil spacer/sleeve/collar/whatever that's it.

Look at the Rusty's and the ACOS. They are no different in regard to the collar to coil interface. Hell about the only real difference between these and the Rustys is that the Rustys has the wider top to go all the way up to the top of the tower. Re-use your OE isolator and you will be fine.

They may not work. For $25 it is worth a shot. If they don't work I will sell the complete set to some ricer for more than what I paid for them.

You answered your own question - what is the point of non-adjustable spacers when you can get adjustable for the same price?

Spacers are an absolute. Say you need 1" on the left and 1 1/4" on the right? Last time I checked spacers were sold in pairs. So either you aren't level OR you have to buy 2 pairs to get the ones you need.

Suppose you have 1" spacers and add a winch/bumper. You gonna buy another $45 set of spacers to pick it back up? Remember - you already own a set of $45 spacers.

Why am I even trying to explain this? Haha

Technically they are about $25 a set - not $45 because you get 4 in the set. Sell 2 to a friend for $25.

so you think that the noise of the metal on metal rubbing up and down for a 1/4in of levelness... ok... i guess to each there own here... me personally i could care less if one side is 1/4in less then the other... its not going to matter and youll never see it looking at it... if your springs are more than a inch off then its probly time to invest in a new set...

then again im the guy that doesnt like spacers or blocks anyways... well for offroad use... so i was probly never gonna like the idea from the get go...

That's why you run the rubber isolators between the top of the coil and the collar.

If your spring hits the threaded sleeve and makes noise it was also hitting your bumpstop tube and you have a bigger issue.
