I don't think they do, if I recall correctly. What can happen if just the tie rod is spinnable? It's pretty stiff when trying to turn it. It's not loose or anything.

And will do, man! Thanks

Spin it and get a video of the TRE's while you're spinning it. It looks fine though.

Well I just went and grabbed my crescent wrench and tightened the drivers side a bit, and most of the spinning stopped. Went to the passengers side and the jam nut was all the way over to the end of the tie rod end, the opposite end of where the tie rod itself is.. I don't think it belongs there. So I put it on the tie rod end side, and tightened it as much as I could. It's tight, but I can't do much more due to the drag link being in the way.. I might have to go back and tighten it more. But the spinning of the tie rod has stopped now.. What's the best way to keep these jam nuts tight, for good?

I considered that, but I haven't gotten an alignment yet, and I still need to get a drop pitman arm.

My phone is messing up and it wasn't telling me if it was recording or not, so I didn't know until later. I also couldn't be under my Jeep for very long since I live in a condo and the garage attendants get mad if you do any work on your vehicle.

So I went wheeling for the first time with the lift yesterday. New height was nice. But my ride was insanely stiff and bumpy. Leafs aren't broken in yet but I don't see it getting better. If I wanted to remove a leaf or two and add in a shackle relocator, would that help with ride quality and flex? Also how many leafs need to be removed for the 1.5 shackle relocator to maintain 6.5 to 7'' of lift?

Cheers

It will not get much better with those arched 6.5 in leafs, you are correct.

Put the old leafs back on with a 2in shackle and a relocator, nothing will flex better.

I don't really want to put my old leafs back in. I wasn't at 4'' with them either. Is the leaf removal and new shackles/ relocator not good?
