1997 4dr. 163K miles $200. It had been sitting in my friends yard for 4 years with a blown tranny(thats what he thought) Turns out a motor mount broke and when the engine dropped the fan cut a tranny cooling line. I ended up replacing the rear brakes and fuel pump and a few other minor things. She was street legal with about $750 total and I have been driving it daily since Jan. with no issues. His loss my gain.

$2700 in Oct. 2011. $1700 to pass MD inspection. Later found out it needs a motor (or rebuild). Worst deal I've done in my life...and when I'm the most poor I've been in my life!

In Sept. 2011, $5800 for my 96 sport. had 128,000 on it.
Really wish i knew a thing or two when i bought it so I could have talked him down a couple grand. It was leaking from everywhere possible and overheating. Butttt it did come with a decent lift and tires on it that only had a couple thousand miles. Still coulda saved enough to regear and get long arms. dang it

7,500 for a 01 Classic with 96K. 8" LA's, new 33's, SYE, drive shafts, alarm, CD, OTK. No body rust. Found out the AC was shot, speakers were shot, leak from head gasket was hiding RMS leak and everything on the front end was red neck engineered unsafe BS. My lack of knowledge was his gain.

1500 for a 1990 that was sitting for 8 years. After joining the forum I realized it wasn't worth that much. Oh well I split the cost 50/50 with my parents. Anddd it is loaded for offroading other than not having sway bar discos. It's got a detroit trutrac in the front too! Only rust is about 5 little tiny spots on the body. I'm planning on rattle canning it at some point. Oh and I got it at 156k and now it has 161k after having it for a year. It's a great first car! Definately beats having a honda civic!
