Bought my 96 xj for $3000 about 3 months ago. Had to make the 2 hour drive a few times but well worth the money. NO RUST and an engine swap with only 64K on it
(200+ K on the body)

andddddd another for the collection......... picked up a black 99 4x4 stock with 157k on it for $1900. Gonna have to repaint the roof and turn the rotors. Body is straight and the interior is super clean.
If it all works out good and no surprises pop up since its low miles I will swap my dad for his 99 with 205k on it and sell it.

I bought my xj for $600 and only needed a rear brake hose to pass a MO safety inspection. It is a '84 Chief with the 2.8l motor with 3spd auto trans. So far I have a total of about $750 after a tune up and putting some factory mirrors and some rear hatch shocks off of an explorer from the junk yard. I want to swap the motor, trans and t-case over with 4.3l blazer replacements

Origionally bought my 99 3 years ago for $3500 with 112xxx on it. Since though i've dropped about $4 or 5000 into it on various modifications, engine swap trans and i think it's on it 3rd transfer case now too. It's never done either.
98 with 108k miles on it...ex-county vehicle so it's in amazing shape and well maintained. Black w/ power everything rear defrost & wiper...absolutely no rust on the entire truck.

I paid $500 for my 90 Limited 6 or 7 years ago. It had 126k on it. Had a 3" lift and brand new 31s, but a bad T-case. It is a little different now, but still don't have a lot of money in it. I think the new KM2s were the most expensive addition. Most of the work was either done by myself, or with help from friends.
