I paid $1400 for my Cherokee Laredo two years ago...had to be replace starter motor and alternator after a year of having it....body and interior in great shape for being 17 years old. I put in a new Pioneer CD and it already had great speakers when I bought it. One thing that's a bummer it's been leaking a lot....thinking it's the rear main seal...so it's going to the mechanic this week!

$5000 for a 2000, completely stock, no rust, 61K miles a month ago. Runs great, only had to pound out a couple dents and buy paint to get it looking almost perfect.

Do you hear banjos?
I paid $1500.00 for my first XJ, it was a 1989. It was clapped out, had a D35, and a lot of issues. I fixed all of that, and wheeled the crap out of it for a few years, then I sold it for $1500.00. I sold a set of tires I had for $500.00, and so that paid for my current Cherokee. Technically, it was $2000.00, but really it was more of a trade, since no money came directly out of my pocket!! I think it worked out great!! Unfortunately, I have a lot more than that into the Jeep!! LOL!!

Bought my 95 in Feb 06 for $2400 with 94k on it. I know that seems a little expensive but I bought it from my boss who bought it with 11 miles on it. All professionally maintained since day 1. Came with a stack of receipts for all the work done to it. Besides a muffler and regular maintenence I haven't had to put a cent into it. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I have had to do 5x as much work to the Ranger I bought brand new in 02.

$1,200 for my 97 Sport. Had 96,000 miles on it and was in perfect condition. Have owned it for a few years now and the only money put into it has been for mods only. I freakin LOVE Jeeps.
