$3500 for my 99 3 years ago, $700 for a 94 about a year ago but have since sold it, and $500 for a 94 (my latest). i still have the 99 and have since put probably at least double what i paid for into it, and the 94 got a lift and some simple stuff as well as a new set of 31's.

Bought my 2000 XJ Sport on halloween for $1400. 126k, needed battery, windshield, rear door stationary window, muffler, windshield washer pumps. I have less than $2000 into it and it runs great.

Paid $500 for it! 1993 XJ Sport-133k Ran perfect no probs at all! Got lucky I think.
To date only invested normal wear&tear items and a waterpump.
Unfortunately now at 249k miles, something is messed up in clutch or trans. AX-15
Been clutchless shifting last couple days due to not related problem shifting, now it will not shift except only when its turned off. Any ideas fellow Jeepers???
Clutch? slave? master? synchros? Help please?!!!

Default 1999 XJ Limited - One Owner

Yes, there are a few of us on here who bought their Jeeps new and still have them. I ordered my XJ with every option available at the time except the skid plate package. It now has 200,000 miles on it, looks new, and runs as well as well as it looks, which is pretty darn good. I paid $23,400 in October 1998.
