'93 Cherokee-250 bucks with a banged up front end and a lotta rust. K.id across the hall from me smacked a city bus with it. 165000 miles on the clock. Needed a radiator, fan and fan clutch. Had it driveable the day I bought it. Total cash outlay after 2 years including original repairs, maintenence, and registration....1800 bucks. best deal I ever made on a truck. Workin' on the rust now.

Well i can finally stop the hunt...i Got my 5-speed Cherokee
Just bought it today for $200 bucks, its a 1998 5-speed 4x4, the clutch is a year old and everything works. Except well...the front suspension, the kid i bought it off of drifted with it last winter snapped off the sway bar one of the lca's and a sway bar link by nailing a curb...gonna be fun to fix that, but for $200 im not complaining

Definetly, im trying to decide if i should just get a whole new D30 and all the suspension components attached to it, ill post some pics of it when i pick it up this weekend in the tech section and in my album so everyone can see what happened
Im not sure if mine is an xj or what but I gave 500 for it. Guy thought the tranny was going out. It had a loose connection in the line and was leaking. I showed him and he still sold it to me so his wifes ex couldn't get it for free on payments. It had 159 or so on it. It was really nice when I bought it. I did have to change the radiator and fix the line in laying in slushy snow to drive it home but it was well worth it.

Jeeps seem to be cheap as hell in other places...guess living in a dry state pays off, can buy a 30 year old truck and as long as it was washed in winter, it will be rust free for the most part.
