WAY too much. 3500.00 Cause I thought, OH, it already done. Geared, locked, lifted. There's nothing even left on it the same as when I bought it. Blew the motor, blew the trans, and well... it doesn't even look like the same Jeep to say the least.

I paid $1000 almost two years ago for my 1993 2wd, 4.0L HO with 186k miles at the time (193 now), power windows/doors, not much else. Spotless interior with one minor blemish on the dash and a discolored arm rest. Stack of receipts a mile high from the original owner (who I bought it from).

Of course, it's 2wd. I wanted 4wd, but it was hard to find a 4wd vehicle in as good as condition as the 2wd was for a reasonable price. So the day before I was to leave on vacation for a week, I found a parts jeep on Craigslist 5 miles from my house. It's a '94 2-door rust bucket, 4.0L HO with 120k miles, NP231, Dana30/Chrysler 8.25 rear. Paid $450 and $50 for towing, since it has no brakes. Don't mind the yard, I'd just gotten back from a week and a half vacation, I mowed it right after snapping this.

mines a 2000 xj sport. it was in my neighbors yard for about 2 years and he said "if you can fix it you can have it" so $100 for a new radiator and an oil change and here i am. 186,xxx+ miles and it runs great
Paid $1500 for the '96 w/163K. Needed lots of work and still needs lots of work, but it is a daily driver.
(Had to put a water pump on it right after I wrote the above... Lol)

We just picked up a 95 sport 4dr 4x2 with 88k orig for $1000.
Just had to put a new trans mount and trans seal.
Only other thing it needs is new shocks and thats it.
