You’d have to account for the additional row of buttons below, but the mirror area is roughly the same size—about 2CM narrower.

How/what did you do to upgrade the emblems? I just removed all of mine and painted my 93 zj. The emblems are in need of refurbishment but how? I could use spray paint, but am thinking that it will look tacky lol.

I got them off a grand Cherokee at the junkyard. Removed the adhesive and tediously reapplied 3M double sided tape.

Personally I like the brushed metal badges on my '00.
I kinda like the fact that there is no chrome on my Jeep.
That being said looks like you did a nice job lining up those individual letters.
How did you manage that? LOL.

note that I did not post a photo of the rear. on the rear hatch, the ‘p’ has got a mean angle on it, and that 3M tape feels permanent.

😂😂

That is funny.
I have been toying with the idea of getting my Jeep painted. Might bedline it instead.
But I have been sourcing badging here and there. When the price is right.
And I will tell you some of them are not cheap.
Anyway don't see myself lining up the old badging good. Thought you might have had a "trick".
I did come across this which would save a little money.

oh, my “trick“ was using masking tape as a guide. I marked the start and end of each letter, while the tape provided the leveling. then I removed the old letters and applied the new ones.

I had to wing it on the rear, because the painters did not reapply the jeep emblem.

Put wheels on with 4 in backspace. Not a fan personally. Looks like a dainty little girl now.

What Apline receiver is that? Looks similar to one I have in a pickup that I’m about to sell, if it’ll fit in my xj I’ll be doing a swap.

Alpine ILX-W650. I like the features, however it doesn’t have video-in and you cannot customize the wallpaper. If I had to do it again I’ll be looking for those features as well.

should finish tmmw, shoes, wheel cylinders and brake lines all for rear axle

ONE wheel cylinder leaked, wasnt able to undo the wheel cylinder ends of the brake lines without ruining them....of course they come out perfect from the dist block on the rear axle. lol

It is a great radio, and the metra kit is top quality. It really is a pretty easy install.

Thanks, good to know, I’ve got same radio in my pickup, it’ll be coming out know before it goes up for sale.
