No, not yet. They said “We test and recondition the cylinder heads but can't guarantee you will get a tupy, We also offer a new cast cylinder head which is a heavier version and does not have the issues of the original heads. This is an additional 300.00 and I would have to build one.”
Since I can get an inspected TUPY for the same price on eBay, and that Titan doesn’t cover cracks anyway, should I just go with the factory 0331 and hope I get a TUPY and if I don’t, just buy a TUPY when it cracks? Or try to get more info on their “heavier version”?

Even if I bought 3 inner pinion bearings and 3 crush sleeves to know that I set up my first differential rebuild correctly.
Going to drop off this spare I have to be tested this week, $75. I don't know what head my 01 has on it, I assume a 0331, so I'm gonna have this one inspected, I'll rebuild and bag it up for a rainy day.

They should be able to tell you exactly who made the new head. I'd trust em even less if that can't give you that basic info. Why drive 11 hours to pick it up? How much do they want to ship it?

So I drove the Jeep around to check the AC. Figure about 82 degrees on the ambient temp and saw about 44 degrees on my thermometer.
So I get back and throw the gauge set on and it is a little lower then I would like to see it.
So I gave it a bump and got it here. The temperature had reached 85 degrees by this point.
Also got the Lock-Ease in the locks, squirted some Chain and Cable lube down the cable to open the hood from the
bellcrank end, and some White Lithium everywhere else for the hood hinges and whatnot.
Oh and per BlueRidgeMark's suggestion hit the windows with a second coat of Rain-X.
It is hot, I am tired and tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I am calling it for till at least Saturday. LOL.

Cancelled my order with Rustys Off-road. After 3 weeks of waiting, I finally called to be told that parts I ordered are out of stock and that they have no idea when they will get them in? Talk about leaving a bad taste for a first time customer.

buy an older motor, pull the head, send to a shop to have it cleaned/tested, buy new valves springs, saddles etc and rebuild yourself. I dunno. I'm skeptical about buying prebuilt and rebuilt. I cant always get around that but I trust my work above all others, not because I'm the best in the world but because I have success with what I do and I have my own discernment to live with and I know that I'll do it right.

They want $285 for shipping and I have the ship the core back I’m assuming it will be about the same amount to ship it back. The core charge is $350 if I don’t return one. I’ve calculated the gas to get there and back would be around $230 or so. Unless I misunderstood how the core shipping works, I’d rather drive than pay the $600 in shipping or core fees.

Longer lead time should be expected right now but that's just bad customer service. What did you order?

From time to time I get compliments on how clean my Jeep is. While I enjoy the support as I have told you guys not exactly as clean as you think.
With rain today and tomorrow figured I would see if I could deal with some of that. Awhile back I picked up 4 black doors for $100 local to me off Craigslist.
Not perfect but kind of in better shape then mine. So some shots of my rear passenger door which is one of the sore points on the Jeep.
The one I bought.
So while in better shape rust wise not so much paint wise. I always wanted to take apart a door completely.
So I am going to putz around with that. They cut the harness and hinge. To bad cause who doesn't like spare parts. LOL.
I have taken rear windows out and a front door regulator and glass but that is about it. So this will be a learning experience.
Once apart I will see how much I can clean up the door and bring back the paint. And go from there.

Our 2000 Freedom has 307k on it.. I suppose I should look to see if it is a 0331 or not.
We have a spare engine with an oh-331 on it which is tight and runs but also has a good 270k on it.

So in case anybody is interested a rear door comes apart pretty easy. Learned a couple things and had 1 oh oh moment.
So if you are replacing a rear regulator and the window is stuck up you can move it around enough after unbolting the regulator to drop the window enough to get at the torx
holding it to the regulator with a wobbly extension. Also if replacing an actuator it is easier to unhook the lock rod to the door handle on the actuator
instead of the door handle. And when you take off the door handle pulling the lock rod through attached is not a problem.
So the oh oh moment.
That is the lower hinge. I stripped one torx so had to cut the head off and the other just snapped.
The plate just hooks on a couple hooks in the door. You can see the one oblong hole. My thumb is covering the other.
The top hinge came right off. And I was trying to see if they were the same. Problem is that there is a runner for the window
that is part of the door so it is not letting you unhook the plate. So I can't get it out. I checked my parts catalog and best I can
tell they don't even list the part so I can't tell that way. But the shim plate is the same top and bottom so it might be. And it does
look the same so if you could find a door to cut up you could get the top to replace the bottom one.
At least it being out of the Jeep might make it easier to undo my mistake.
Last you have to look close but you can see the little rust pin points that formed under the window molding.
