Front skid plate, off to be painted to match vehicle. Door handles all around. New wiper motor; need wiper arm and the seal for where the wiper comes out of the door (2000XJ). But cant find or identify the part. New bumpers, brackets, and door trim to be instaled, painted next week. Looking at JB Conversions HD231 short SYE transfer case, DPG OME hybrid lift. Wondering if JB is best way to go.
JB, PORC, and Advanced Adapters are all good just look around for the best price, you probably won't need the short shaft one just get a standard length one xjs have a long enough wheel base, unless you want to lift it 8+ inches also if you get a standard length SYE a front driveshaft will work as a rear, assuming you have an auto and 4.0.
Tried to get the pitman arm off - failed miserably.
Broke 2 pullers even after using a **** ton of heat and a 4# engineers hammer. No dice - taking it to a local 4x4 shop tomorrow morning to see if they will help me

I highly suggest you try the crayon trick. I had a similar experience with my pitman arm. Melted a crayon above into the thread and it came off much easier.

Tried the crayon trick, no dice.
Heated it as much as I could with a portable MAP gas torch till the seal was completely melted and still no dice (while hitting it as hard as I could with a 4lb engineers hammer).
Took to a local 4x4 shop, and they couldn't get it off either. The mechanic ended up breaking his MAC tools pitman arm puller (feel kind of bad about it) while they were heating it with a REAL torch, me on the impact hammer hitting the sector shaft and pitman arm and the mechanic using the impact gun on the pitman arm puller.
Got the pitman arm red hot and tried 3 times to get it off. They suggested cutting it off but I have a new box that it needs to go onto after they broke one of their $200 pullers.
I really wanted to change it out this weekend - a new pitman arm is going to cost me 25 + shipping and wont be here till Thursday. Stupid engineers - I hate when things are designed improperly. NEVER seen a pitman arm this stuck - ever ever ever. This is the 2nd "attempt" at removing it, and I have been soaking it in PB Blaster once a week roughly since last summer. Super angry right now - wasted about 8 hours today alone on this. Not a single place in all of Denver has a new XJ or ZJ pitman arm, I called pretty much everywhere I could. What a bunch of bull****

Last night did the rear main seal and oil pan gasket. no more oil leaks and smoke. Also switced to rotella t5 15w 40. Today I put on my new bumper (finally). I like the stinger but may cut it back some still not sure.
