Broke the ears on my axle shaft. My u joint came apart when I was doing 55 and it messed it up pretty badly. Guess I'm 2wd foe a while until I can afford a new axle shaft

It might be, but while you're under there I think it's good to wipe the pan out and clean the magnets.

Steering saga is almost over. Got a really quality box reman'd by a local steering shop, 2nd Lares pump, new lines, and filled with AMSOIL power steering fluid for a warm fuzzy feeling.
Feels fantastic, so much better than my factory pump and the bad Lares I initially received.

Old steering spacer came out in pieces, and the new spacer I got included a 3/4 sleeve kit for the bolt holes. For whatever reason, it took me about 2 hours of grinding to clearance the first hole all the way to 3/4 but I couldn't get to the furthest back part with the dremel so the sleeve won't fit all the way in. Instructions said to use a die grinder, didn't work very well.

Going to try a 3/4 drill bit and see if it works any better. Worried that the drill bit will want to wander and not "grab" though, and getting a drill to the top most steering box mount is going to be tough because of the Fender brace thingy the horn mounts to. $20 drill bit but i guess I'll roll the dice and report back.

I also have some Centric Premium Rotors and PowerStop Z36 Semi-metallic pads that are going in on Wednesday (to match the ZJ discs with the same setup I just installed in the rear). After that, I can finally install my Subwoofer (maintenance and drivability comes first).

Congrats! I wrapped up my PS pump/reservoir/hose replacement today too. There is still a little whine, but its finally dry as a bone.

You mean duct tape the factory space back together?
New spacer was extra beefy, welds all the way around the sleeves compared to most which just have 2 spot welds.
