the set of 4 holers came in yesterday
swapped them in , had on rack socket that didnt like its oring very much
snipped the edge on the new one and one of the old ones
runs sweetly, Momma says it feels like it wants to GO

unit bearings rumbling......

today i looked to see where i can fit a small 2m radio.... there isnt any freakin room in these things

 

changed the oil, tightened up the upper rad hose clamp, was getting some drips

 

im looking at the headliner,some had bracket for module??
maybe something up there to start??

 

Just spilled a gallon of gasoline in my DD subaru. gonna go light a match to get the smell out

 

Installed my heated mirrors and infinity tweeters. Was surprised at how much better the radio sounds with the tweeters.

 

That might be a wise idea. Nothing gets gas out of a vehicle like a lit match. Lol

 

Today I ordered dual electric fans.

Some 12" ones off ebay. 5 stars, and USA seller. Ill have to get relays and wiring when they come in.

 

Good to know about the tweeters. I have some that I bought awhile back for $40 shipped. On the to do list. What are you running for a radio and speakers? Mine is a stock non Infinity set up in the '00.

I have a Alpine cheapo unit that I am looking to replace. It just has am/fm aux and a USB port. I want to get something with Bluetooth for my phone. As far as speakers I have some Sony 6.5s that the PO installed. I want to get some cheap amp and sub to put under the rear seat. I don't need fancy but I would like to be able to have decent bass.

I have one in my XJ and one in my service van. Excellent units, blue tooth play back is flawless. It is a digital media player, meaning no CD drive. Super light. Right price too.

I might add, do not buy Duel brand stuff. I got one of their units from crutchfield and the blue tooth audio after 10 minutes would get laggy and choppy.
