Hope that thrush sounded good, I had just done one a week ago and my old stock exhaust with a leak was much louder. I was highly disappointed. Ended up buying and welding up a Flowmaster 40 series. Much happier now.

Windex windows, armor all everything
need to do vacuum everything (sunflower seeds hate bags that dont ziplock)
plus years of neglected dust thought id gain some extra boosted nitrous driven HP from this by doing so. and well to my surprise NOTHING ahah
(i might vacuum up like ten lbs of dust and stuff tomorrow hah)

Oh and researched how to minimize spreading of rust on body and underside of this beauty...(LOTS OF WORK but worth it for winter )

My buddy's trail rig sounds awesome with straight piped flow master 40 series. Mine still has a cat and its just a bit quieter but still sounds great

My favorite sound out of a jeep was my old one with a 4.3 vortec running duel 40 series exhaust. Quite idle with a nice soft loop but once you got on it they opened right up and screamed.

No primer or washing involved lol. Just had an extra can of bedliner and too much chrome. It's a temporary fix until I can get some Nates bumpers. The rear bumper is in rough shape.

I love it, was exactly what I was after. Not loud but gave a nice clean tone, and should take hits better than what It replaced. It has a mild drone at lower RPMs but Ive had a FM40 on a past Jeep and it was way worse than the Thrush.

I love it, good clean/deep tone and not very loud at all. Ive ran a FM40 in the past and its just too loud for me. I dont care for anything real loud if it isnt V8 or diesel.

Drone at low RPM would be tolerable. A constant annoying drone at 65+ is unbearable when you drive for 16hrs. Lol. (On my vacation) how is it at highway speeds? Did you use a stock 2.25" tail pipe?

I was dead set on magnaflow performance curve kit, until shipping was like $50 bucks. Made everything a lot more exspensive. So I've been looking at a cheaper route.

Drove mine to work today for the first time in over a week. Glad to have the gas tank relocation finished, I'm hoping the new o ring where the sending unit goes into the tank doesn't start leaking again.
