Took the pooch to the swim hole for a cool dip, had a backyard visitor, the Hello Kitty ZJ turned 300KKm, the Peep needed a new front right universal, and a rear driveshaft universal. The front was dry and rattled (grease fitting jammed) but the rear was really done, new that vibration was familiar, finished the day with some bbq and bubblies.

After ripping off and mangling my exhaust on the last wheeling trip, I picked up a new Thrush Welded muffler and burned it in, tucked it up a bit higher in the process.

Due for cap, rotor and wires every 30,000 miles. How did those Autolite plugs do, and what was the gap after 30,000?

Cap and rotor looked good, wires are new.Autolite 985 coppercore held up fine, maybe a touch hot with 703 injectors.Hard to diagnose with oil burn ash on electrode.
