Got about a foot of snow from the storm that we had yesterday. They are calling it a blizzard. Roads were slick and snow covered and even some main roads were getting down to one lane due to all the snow. Visibility stayed at bout 1/4 mile or better. Was fun to be out playing in it with the jeep. I really like the General Grabber AT 2's. Drifts 2 or 3 feet deep slowed the jeep some but a little wheel spin kept it moving even as the axles drug through the snow. They finally closed the roads and at least in my county started threatening people with tickets for being out on the roads unless its an emergency. I decided not to press my luck as it would be hard to convince the police that doing doughnuts, blowing through drifts, blasting down unplowed roads ect was an emergency.
2nd time in a week the jeep would not start its -29 and - 50 windchill with a cheap mastercrap battery or somthing like that 650 cca. where can I get one them die hard Platinums at

I was looking around yesteday at batteries and calling places. It is neg 40 here with the windchill and I wasnt wanting to take a chance.
Seemed like diehards were the most expensive. Batteries plus had a 34 series that was the most affordable. Was $109 with a ten dollar rebate if I remember correctly off the top of my head. 850CCA and 1020CA. Either 3 or 4 year warranty.
I have never ran one before. Maybe someone who has can chime in. Seems like most of the batteries are made by the same folks nowadays anyway.
