That depends, what's the spline count? And if it's a 27 spline, I would advise against it, and I would consider 35's to be the safe limit for a 29 spline locked, I'm sure you can get away with it, but If you do. Have extra shafts. Why are you so set on 36's why not 35's or even 33's

I would get some spare shafts at the very least. Plan on alloy axles, new case for the rear. Leave the front open and upgrade everything before you put a locker in there. If you go with narrower tires 35-36x10.5 (ie. Tsl Q78's, bogger, ssr) or something in the 65lbs a tire or less your axle may hold up better. I would swap in an 8.8 in the rear and truss, sleeve, case, and alloy shaft the Dana 30. Oh yeah would bother on 8.25 if its a 27spline. 29spline shoyld hold up good, especially if you upgrade internals.

33s are a bit small lol I want the biggest tire possible one for looks and two for clearance. 36s are just unique and cool

Ssr is a radial tire, better for street. Less tread depth than the q78s though.

You do realize that there is only 1" difference on ground clearance between a 33 and 35 right.
