A car mounted cell phone. The thing still powers up and looks kind of cool or is it old school? Looked up the model and it was manufactured in 1992. Wish I could use the phone receiver as a mic for the CB

sounds like a Pocho guy. Im Mexican, and as such I wouldnt be caught dead at Taco Cabana or Taco Bell, not to mention there are much better places for better prices.
Anyways speaking of POs,
when I bought my Jeep, my first full day of owning it (I had only test driven it at night), I noticed that it smelled terrible once it got hot out.
The seats were pretty stained, so I shampooed them.
still smelled.
so I shampooed the carpet and rear cargo area.
still smelled.
I finally flipped up the rear seat and

tons of trash, old food, mold, some rotten vegetables and fruits.
it was pretty much a mini hazardous waste dump

This XJ was pretty surprise free, other than a unadvertised bottle of touch up paint in the glove box.
The real gem was my 88 MJ. I violated rule 13 of car buying by seeing it at dusk and buying it. So I get home and notice the engine has a slight lean. I surmise it must be a broken motor mount, so I head down to Advance in the other Jeep, grab a new mount and come home for the 1-2 hour job. Instead I discover the mount broke, so instead fo fixing properly, the PO puled the broken mount, layed the mm braket on the engine over on the frame and welded it. Somehow they determined this to be better than a $10 mount from Advance. Anyways, several hours, lots of grinding, and having to get a new engine side bracket later, I finally had it back straight again. Only to discover that the engine had damaged the rear brake line, and when I pulled it off the line relaxed, and the hole started leaking, so I got to replace that next. After that I set about discovering why there was a toggle switch laying on the console with speaker wire running to it. That one turned out to be a bypass of the factory blower switch that died. I'll skip over the welded in roll bar in the bed, broken spare tire carrier, and completely unhooked rear proportioning valve lever. I love MJs, but I sure don't miss that one.

Okay so my ZJ came with rats nest in the air box, nest behind the radio in the dash, temperamental starter (only worked about every 50 times the key was turned), the engine was coated with about .5 inch of crud, BFG at's were chewed up worse than any other tire I've seen in my life, lots of rust...I mean LOTS haha, about 15 years worth of hunting and fishing licenses for the PO, about $15 in change, a replacement light for every bulb I'll need in the jeep, a timeken bearing for god knows what, a case of coors filled with the empty cans, 2 snapped fishing poles along with 2 wonderful reels for these poles, assorted fishing lures, trebble hooks big enough for snagging sharks, and a 10 gauge shotgun shell. It was full of **** lol.

my previous owner broke a bolt for the starter off in the bellhousing so he decided to use a c clamp to secure the starter and he also broke one of the spots to screw the distributor cap on so he used a zip tie to keep it on. Oh and lets not forget the sweatshirt stuffed in the airbox trying to be used as an airfilter.
