The P.O. of my xj was a sheriffs deputy, and besides the empty dip/cigarette containers and a bullet, I found a small microphone behind the driver side sun shade that was wired through the trim with a plug in under the rear seat! For some reason, still unknown to me, the ingition is also wired so that you have to turn the key forward and then press a big shiny button on the dash to start it, which is kinda cool (but may not pass inspection ). There was also a teal sharpie up behind the front bumper (???) and crayon wax melted into the passenger seat .

Default PO left overs

The PO of my 92 was a duck hunter.Gun rack in the back twelve gadge shells under the seat.It was wired to be towed that was a nightmare to clean up oh and the power steereing hose leaked, there was a brand new one in the back. The tag said it had been there over a year.I spent twenty buck at the car wash cleaning under the hood. And it was rusted soild underneath.so far so good on my 87 keeping my fingers crossed.

My 96' 4dr cherokee had a small killswitch mounted under the dash with a wack of wires everywhere for a remote start that had been partially removed, poorly. It was right near the fuse box, but so tiny i never noticed that i bumped it one time... Let me tell you that was one pain in the *** no start to diagnose. My other cherokee had bondo floors that stretched from the brake pedal to the rear bench seat and beyond. I guess it looked safe cause it passed inspections. I've since welded new body steel inplace of it when i was poking it with a screw driver and a 1.5ft section fell off.... lol

3" of 2x3 box tube steel booger welded to the unibody to lower the stock LCAs 3" and the stock uppers extended with what appears to be scrap steel. The passanger side booger weld broke in braking the first 2 days i had it, before i knew left from right when it came to jeeps and lifts.

Wow, I kinda feel bad 'cause when I got mine it was pretty clean. Minus little things like very small stains. but besides all that, nothing. At least not yet...

the only present that our family had to replace/fix was: front rotors/calipers, right wheel bearing/hub assembly had to be replaced, engine & transmission mounts had to be replaced. everything else was minimal.
