Some jeeps are really picky about this.
But I agree with the other guys. Sye isn't your only option here by a long shot.
Drop kits are under 30 bucks and that alone should do the trick for you at 3.5
Keep in mind when/if you install the tcase drop: There is one bolt and one stud on each side of the cross member. You will need a stud extractor/one handed pliers/patients to get the studs. You can also use two nuts on the stud to get it down but that didn't work for me at all. You can't just pull the studs down through the slots in the cross member when you do get them loose.. They need to go up and out due to a burr on the top side of the stud. So you will need to be able to have the side your working with far down enough to accomplish that. Have a jack handy to support the cross member too. And do one side at time. Take your time and don't strip anything.
I wish I had that info before I did mine and found out the hard way about the studs. Haha

Yeah those studs were a pita. I used the two nut trick and it worked fine. Installed a make shift drop kit I made with flat bar, its ugly but it kinda worked. ill find out what the tire shop says about my pinion angles and go from there. Feels damn good to have a lifted jeep again. I appreciate all the tips
