New Lift Question
I just bought a RE 3.5" superflex kit and I am curious if I'm gonna need anything else so I wont have to buy last minute parts in the middle of lifting it. I appreciate anyones help.

Well that depends, what exactly do you have now. Minus leafs, springs and shocks.
I forget what the Spr lift comes with.
RE lifts run higher than advertised. So trac bar t-casedrop or an sye possibly. I would def buy some new shock bolts because the always break. but need more info. also what kind of wheeling if any do you do. that will determine if a t-case drop will be good enough, which it will if she's just a mallcrawler.
soooo....back to you.

U-joints tipically go out after lift is put on do to angle change. I would lift rear spin around block see if you have vibs before t-case drop, front typically dosent vibe. Im at 4" lift no vibes, but I have shackles and basterd pack not just a spring lift.

Things I wish I did right away.
SYE ! The 3.5 will net you 4.5 - 4.75 inch of hight. I have about 1.25" t-case drop and about to buy a SYE.
33" I ran 31's for a few years and now about to put my 33's on today don't waist your money on 31's you will always want bigger.
Adjustable track bar... I still need one.
Last think is be prepared to break every bolt you touch. Use lots and lots o PB parts blaster. And have fun with your leaf spring bolts

Yeah I plan on going higher later on. The 33's might be a problem cause of rubbing since the 97 and newer have smaller wheel wells I think. Definitely not cutting fenders...

My XJ is a pig with my winch bumper winch, Sliders, Gastank skid and my RE 3.5" lift is sitting at 4" in the front and 4.5" in the rear after a year of wheeling on big rocks, and a little pre running .
I advise saving for a SYE

no need to crawl under it and look. just tell us what the display is on the 4x4 plate next to the shifter. its prolly a 231.
You will def rub with ur RE kit, stock flares and 33s. If not on the c/a's def when u flex her out.
I also bought new leaf bolts just incase i had to cut the old ones. i didn't want to be down because of bolts. I used all the new hardware that i bought and kept the old bolts. Antisieze is ur best friend when reinstalling everything.
