Need help on axles
dana 35 or chrysler 8.25 i have a 89 xj with a 6.5 long arm rockkrawler lift i am having a hard time choosing axles which would be best pros and cons on both axles would be great thank you

i never said the 8.25 came with my 89 i have a 8.25 and a dana 35 the 8.25 is off the 90 i have just purchased for a parts jeep i want to know what axle would be better to run with

Ok everyone doesn't need to make it complicated, he simply asked what he should put under his jeep, the 8.25 or the Dana 35 (at least this is how I'm understanding from it) the 8.25 would be my opinion if I had a choice between the two

thank you man i have a few axles to choose from i just dont want to scrap the wrong one if i have something better and could be a upgrade rather minor or major i want it ty sir

then i may have a frankinstien here it is def. a 8.25 axle in the rear of this jeep now i need to find out how many splines is there a way to check with out tearing the axle down

What size tires you gonna run?What rear ends to use depends a lot on tire size and how your going to use it.Out of the two the 8.25 is the better two but if your not scared of a little welding you have a lot more options even junkyard ones.
