So I started my all power options delete investigation today. This may be old news but I once heard a rumor that some XJ's have hidden manual window cranks? I am here to tell you that my 91 Laredo has no such hidden mechanicals.

So I am considering alternatives to cranks. What about a lever to push up or drop down the glass? Anybody done anything a little different?

I'm not inclined to swap doors because they have matching snow camo paint on them. I may go on the search for manual internals.

 

Just change the regulators out for manual regulators. You don't need to reinvent the wheel.

Yeah just change out the window regulators and if you want it stock looking get new door panels from the junkyard.
