I knew her well and over the years I got to know her even better, in fact the slightest hiccup would vertebrate my very soul.. Shes been gone for many years now, 190k trouble free miles on my beloved '88 MJ and I regretfully sold her to my brother...

Today I was replacing the brakes for the first time on my '97xj and wow what a surprise, seemed very different then my MJ iirc.. The first side took me a little bit to figure it out but most of the confusion was because it was stuck (seemed welded)... at this point both rotors needed replaced, after doing one side the other took about 10mins or less...

odd thing, the bolt holding the caliper on the drives side were 10mm, passenger had 12mm...

I'm getting to know her better, the more I work on maintenance items the closer the bond becomes...

Ive had my hands deep inside her most private areas since day one !!!! Ive convinced her to go on a diet and lose the extrat weight of those doors and i gout her a bumper implant makes her look damn fine !
