I have an important question!!
I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 that I need the header panel and front drivers side panel for.
The local salvage yard has a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Will those parts fit my XJ or am I **** outta luck?

Im willing to bet there are at least a dozen xjs in your area that you could pull parts from.. i know everywhere is different but theres gotta be more junkyards around you. If not, look for a part out on craigslist

You would honestly think that, but I can't find any. They're all Grand Cherokee. And I've looked on craigslist and the closest ones are 80-150 miles away.
maybe scout out some things you may want from a junkyard a little further away and make a day trip out of it

I'm up in Delaware and I can't find any XJ's for parts hardly at all. I ended up buying a panel from eBay and re shaping panels and brackets in my shop. Honestly it makes it easier for me to get a dent here or there because she's already hurt lol

lol i know what you mean.. i have the beautiful gunmetal pearl paint job and it killed me the first time she got scratched up but you get over it and theyre just battle scars after awhile

You do realize you can use those parts from a 2-door or 4-door right?
