Cherokee motor swap question
So i recently rolled my jeep and picked up a donor jeep to swap my motor into. My question is for anyone who has swapped one of these before, is there anything specific i should look out for or any problems i may run into that can be avoided? Any insight that may help make this swap as painless and simple as possible is greatly appreciated.

Are they close to the same year or at least both Renix or HOs?
I've done several and best advice I can give is take pictures, lots of pictures of everything, label all wiring and replace the motor mounts while you're in there. And of course new hoses, plugs wires etc.

pretty straight forward. clips are different for each sensor, so hooking up the wrong one is pretty difficult, but i would still use tape and mark each line/connector/hose just so you know where to hook it up again. photos really help visually too.
try to keep the exhaust manifold attached to the new motor if you can too, it's a lot easier than trying to remove those pesky manifold bolts. providing your manifold isn't cracked.
good luck, it shouldn't take no more than a weekend for your first time, unless you want to take the advantage of cleaning up the engine bay/replace motor mounts, etc...

When in any doubt while disassembling one take photos with your phone to refer back to I have done that a lot on cars and electronics, wiring it really helps.

Thanks for the advice guys, ill be sure to take lots of pictures and pick up both an e12 socket and wrench. Luckily ill get some practice pulling the blown motor out of the donor jeep so that might make it a bit easier when pulling/installing the good motor.
