Saw a bolt on truss for the Dana 30 in a parking lot today and couldn't ask the owner, never seen it before. Anyone have an idea who sells them?

^^ This, here's my Ballistic Truss welded on my 30. even if you can't weld, pay someone a couple bucks to weld it up.

I prefer the artec truss as it also replaces the weak uca mount on the passenger side.

True, I capped the uca & notched & welded it into the truss. She's nice & sturdy now. I bought mine off craigslist for $30.00, so price was right..

Sometimes preference goes out the window when you have a good price.

I saw one in the past but for the life of me, I cant remember where....

I went with the I.R.O. Truss. Little spendy but tons of features. Moves shock mounts a bit, legitimate coil retainers, fixes track bar mount, comes with gussets etc. etc. Worked great for me.

Haven't done this since lol...

Bolt on sounds like a bad idea to me rather have it welded.I never have seen a bolt on one so its probably home made or some local shop made it maybe.

Gotta go with the others on this, only consider a weld-on one. What comes to mind are bolts to drag and catch on things, really a bad idea if it moves around on the differential.

The point of a truss is eliminate flex and a bolt on wouldn't accomplish that.

maybe it was a homebrew deal. because i have never seen one.
actually was it over axle, or under?
I think i have seen bolt on under-axle trusses which are useless anyways.
and i dont think this guy is asking where he can go run out and buy one, i think he's just curious, and i am also wondering where/who makes them?

I would think a bolt on one would stop flex if it bolted in several spots across the axle tube... still though- not for me.
