Now instead of spending money on upgrades I'm going to be spending it on new parts
I'll start with a tps and that should take care of the CEL.

 

all city... I do drive alot but that is why I have to buy the second tank. The first tank is just for me to go and come from work. I stayed in the last two weeks and didn't go help any friends with vehicles and my first tank lasted about 5 days.

 

I dont find 8 mpg that bad... I am completely stock and I get 14.... kinda depressing.

But why dont you carpool?
I gave a ride to a guy in the neighboring town his senior year (my junior) because he totaled his truck (GMC Sierra 1500 loaded, leather heated seats, beautiful). Gave me twenty bucks everytime I filled up, when he rode for that week, which came close to filling my tank (Geo Tracker). Guy was cool, ****ing hilarious, he chewed, but I didnt really mind, picked up his bottles every week.
Probably wouldnt be as cool with it in my Cherokee though... I try to keep mine spotless inside.

 

I do car pool I get 10 a week from my friend in my neighborhood

 

All I know is, I didnt have am M benz and an XJ when I was 16, none the less a headunit with built in DVD & screen in my XJ. I got my XJ when I was 16 and Im 22 now, and still dont have all the toys and lifts you have

why dont you sell some of the stuff on your jeep and make some dough and build more later. If youre not wheeling, just DD, sell the front bumber with mounted winch and fogs for like 400$ and buy a stock front bumper?

 

I don't have a Benz that's my dads.
The head unit was sitting in storage from my dads old f150.
It was just sitting in there so he said I could have it.
I bought the xj with everything like that beside the fogs and some other small stuff.
Yes it's my dd but I sometimes mud with my friends in it

 

I don't quite agree with buying another cheap car. You might get more mpg & the savings members have mentioned look good on paper but they failed to add things like up keep on this car, insurance for 2 vehicles, tags ect. So in reality your spending just as much if not more than just running one truck & fixing it correctly. Don't get me wrong I have several vehicles myself(dozen more than I need)some good with gas & some you can watch the gas gauge go down. But don't expect to buy a cheap car & have any more $$$$ than you have now.

 

Get a girlfriend with a honda...

(Yes, They do cost more than gas... but they're also more fun)

 

Your mileage may vary with the girlfriend... Sometimes it's better with the jeep!

Just think of us poor people that dont live in the states and have to pay over $8 per gallon, Cherokee gets driven every chance I get but tbh only managed to put 500 miles on it in the last two months. Get a job that gives you a company car or a fuel card lol

 

8mpg dont sound too good..but ya cant get rid of it and get some bum honda

tell your friend gas is going up so you need alittle more to put in the tank
