Default Aussie locker

Ok so I picked up an Aussie locker for my 8.25. And it locks up great. But the problem is when I take a right hand turn the back end doesn't like to unlock. Or when I am backing up. When ever the drivers tire is the outside in a turn that's slow.

Anyone have experience with this? Anyone know what to do to fix this problem?

Thing is tho I have one up front. And it's quite under power. And when I take a left turn slow and sharp is quite as ever and can't tell it's there but take a right turn and it locks and jerks then unlocks real hard.

The way the front and the rear work as far as the locker is concerned is totally different. In 2wd you are pushing the front so it unlocks. In the rear its always engaged unless you are coasting, and even then it may still be engaged.

The locker engages by pressure on the center pin through the ring gear and carrier. So its always under pressure in the rear. In the front the pavement is pushing the carrier instead of the ring gear. So its backwards and is always unlocked.

Ive heard that if your air pressure and tire diameter aren't real close to the same on both sides it will cause the lockers to engage/disengage more often especially during turns.

Ya I know how they work. And I'm talking about when I'm in 4 wd the front is still way quiter. And the back is super quite when I turn left, and Loud as **** when I turn right.

The right tire is your pulling tire 90% of the time...so im going to guess and say that when u turn against it it is locking more often then when u turn to the left
