Default any thoughts

Im new to jeep have has other trucks an etc. any ideas on what I should do to the new jeep? its a 01 xj 97k 4.0, not wanting to get crazy with it but something in the lines as a budget build

Best thing to do is read, lots and lots of reading, check out all the builds that are here and naxja(saw your thread there too) do searching(use google) and just keep doing that for awhile, after a bit you'll get an idea of what you truly want and such. One thing to really watch on his your year engine, known to get a crack. Do some searching on the 0331 head. Just so that you are aware.

Looks like you have a nice clean platform to start from. Research is your best friend. And if your going to do something do it right the first time. I don't want to know how much $ I've wasted going from a 3"-4.5"-6.5" lift
