This is the second XJ I've owned and I am stumped. My 95 has no auxiliary fan. The connector that looks just like the connector for the auxiliary fan goes to a sensor on the radiator. When I bought the jeep there was a fan in the trunk, but I can not for the life of me find the plug to connect the fan too. I have searched all over the engine bay, and I cant find a single wire out of place. Is this normal? Did some models not come with auxiliary fans? This Jeep was in a front collision so I did have a variety of miscellanies parts in the trunk. Maybe the fan that was in there was from a junk yard and the person before me picked it up because they thought they needed it. IDKKKKK. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The connector should be on the driver's side by the radiator. Maybe it's tucked under the air filter box?

95 should have an 8 blade electric fan. Part number 5207 9444.

Gauge

Mine is only a 5 blade fan; soon to be 10 blade.

If your XJ doesn't/didn't have a/c, I believe they did not come with that fan.
